Good catch Randy. Instead of running in negative temperatures on Saturday, I ran 18 miles in 45 degrees on Sunday instead.

I haven’t been to Old Homestead. Will have to check that out too.

Will have to hit up Keens next time I’m in NYC.

Have you tried our British steakhouse export: Hawksmoor?

I noticed you made it out to eat during the polar vortex. But in your running section there was no mention of this. So, my question is - did you venture out into the cold for a run this past week ?

I’ll have to give the steakhouse a try. We recently tried Old Homestead for the first time and it was excellent (don’t recall a mutten chop on the menu)

> Your experience of work changes when the mix of people you work with changes.

That's so true. I've done the same type of work (software development) at multiple companies and got vastly different experiences at each one. The people on each team I worked with had the greatest impact on whether I enjoyed my job.

It's kind of crazy to think that some people might have given up on a career they could have excelled in just because they unfortunately ended up working on a team that destroyed their passion.

I didn’t think of it that way, that people might give up. Interesting twist to the conversation Alvin.
